The cakes are wonderful but good luck finding a time that they’re actually open. It’s so frustrating making the trip only to find it closed. 5 times we’ve gone to the new location only to find them closed. I recommend calling first.

My rating is not based on the quality of the product itself, but on the availability and customer experience. I have visited this location twice, and both times I was disappointed to find empty cake cases and extremely limited inventory. Unfortunately, this is something I experienced years ago at the previous locations as well. I’m not opposed to supporting this business; the products are popular for a reason, but the inventory management and production planning seem to be a recurring issue. When customers make the trip to a specialty cake shop, they often come with specific flavors or favorites in mind. It’s frustrating to arrive and find only one or two options available despite the variety of flavors advertised. This is especially challenging for new customers who may walk in ready to try the business but cannot even purchase some of the most popular items. I hope the owner considers improving inventory planning or bringing in additional support to help manage demand, because the product has potential and customers clearly want it.

Finally! This is the pound cake that grandma used to make. Moist and delicious. The owner seemed like family. You owe is to yourself to get a slice of this phenomenal pound cake. Thank me later.

The cakes themselves taste like they came straight out of a grandma’s kitchen – rich, moist, and full of flavor, without being over-the-top or artificial. I love that they offer so many different flavors, because it makes every visit feel a little special and different, but the quality is always the same: Go, run and enjoy!

This is by far the best dessert place in Greensboro. The poundcake is so good and the variety is even better. Great customer service even better cake 🍰 . I will definitely be back.
